We had great shows in March! A big Thank You to Two Stooges Bar and Blue Star Mothers for making us part of the events benefiting US Soldiers and their Families! Main Gate Bar was a blast, we’re really looking forward to our next date back there in June, what a great new place! In upcoming shows we will be at Benton Station April 8th with Wild Country 99 giving away FireFest and Sawyer Brown tickets. April 9th we’ll be back with some of the best fans in MN at Elmdale Liquor! April 22-23 we’ll be partying hard with the PowerHouse crew and wrapping up the month we’ll be back down at Fat Boy’s in East Bethel on April 29th.

Don’t forget Shawn and I will still be at Two Stooges every other Thursday thru the summer and look for me to start back up the solo shows on Wednesdays at DB Searles Bar in Historic Downtown Saint Cloud.

Hey yall! It’s been a busy winter! Sorry to have neglected the website but, now that we’ve got fresh blood on the drums (Joe Yager) and a new outlook on the future, we are back to our old selves, making you dance your pants off! We’ll be at Two Stooges in Fridley on the 18th for a show benefiting the Blue Star Mothers organization! March 19th we’ll be packing our old haunt DB Searles in Downtown Saint Cloud for a killer show. Look for us the 26th at The Main Gate in Little Falls! It’s a great new music venue just north of the city with huge seating and great access to both stage and beverages!

It’s been a pretty eventful summer to say the least. We lost Andrew to Nashville Mid July and had to scramble to find a new drummer to work with. We auditioned a bunch of guys and finally settled on Danny Roussin, formerly of High Noon and Power of 10. We played some great gigs this summer with Wild Country 99 including The First Annual Ribapalooza with Sawyer Brown and Sartell’s Rock N Block with Killer Hayseeds. We’ve added a few new clubs to our roster including the new Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill in Saint Louis Park. We’ll be adding new music to the sets over the next few weeks so Whiskey Plates will be going strong into 2011. We’ve met a lot of great people in the last few months and are looking forward to gaining new friends and fans at upcoming shows. We’ll be at Toby Keiths this Saturday night the 11th, back at Rollies the 17th and Cowboy Jacks the 18th! See ya soon!

Lastnight we played as the Acoustic Trio at Cowboy Jacks in Plymouth. People there sure know how to party….maybe a little too much…hahahaha!

Tonight we are back at Spike’s in Faribault! Sure to be a great show!

We played up in Proctor this weekend and Powerhouse Bar! We had a great time and met some great people…Dick and Cookie have a pretty good thing going. Bar staff is great! We spent Saturday afternoon at Gooseberry Falls fooling around and stopped for dinner and Betty’s Pies! Good Times. Also, if you’re ever in the Duluth Proctor area and need a place to stay, the Willard Munger Inn is a clean, freshly remodeled and fairly priced motel.

It’s going to be a busy week….Shawn and I are playing as the Duo all weekend so the other guys can spend time with the families. Wed is our last acoustic show at DB Searles for the summer, Thursday we’ll be at Morgan’s in Brooklyn Park, Friday at Varsity Bar in Brainerd, and Saturday back down at Cowboy’s Saloon in Circle Pines. Better get some gas.

This past weekend we played to a packed house at Cowboy Jacks in Plymouth on Friday and then DB Searles to our awesome hometown crowd on Saturday! Both shows went great, met a lot of new people and shared a lot of cocktails & shots with our die-hard fans.

Catch us this Friday night at one of our favorite places to play, “Rollies Rednecks & Longnecks”! Come ride the mechanical bull, share a pitcher of beer, and see what new songs we’ve picked up lately!

This past Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Weekend Shawn and I played at Cowboys Saloon in Circle Pines. I can’t say it enough how, “staff makes or breaks a club”. Zach the manager definitely has the right attitude. Thanks for the great venue!

This week I’ll be playing solo at DB Searles on Wednesday. Friday Shawn and I will be at Cowboy Jacks in Plymouth and then Saturday night the full band will be at DB Searles on the main stage. Looking forward to seeing some of the new faces as well as our regular fans on the dance floor.
