Whiskey Plates band is a fairly new arrival on the regional country music scene, formed in late 2008. Frontman/Guitar player Brian Ott, and Bassist Aaron Meierhofer played together in the former rock group CBB that had been a local favorite of the Saint Cloud area for nearly a decade. Lead Guitar player Shawn Tuil has been chicken picking around the U.S. since his teen years, arguably one of the best guitar players in the Midwest. Newest addition on Drums is Andrew Gilbertson of MPLS who brings a bit of a flare, style, and energy to the already talented group, formerly of Johnny Holm's show.
What set's this group apart is an energy and drive that brings any crowd to its feet, known for playing some of the freshest in Country hits as well as some of the great classics. On any given night you will hear songs from; Dierks Bentley, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Eric Church, Luke Bryan and more to; Dwight Yoakham, Johhny Cash, Brooks & Dunn, and others. More than ever Whiskey Plates members have had the chance to appreciate the fan support that makes any show a success! The band travels with professional gear including "top of the line" Instruments, PA System if necessary, and Lighting. The group has made large investments to insure an excellent performance and exceptional entertainment value.
